Yunus Centre for Social Business and Health

The Yunus Centre for Social Business and Health is named in honour of Professor Muhammad Yunus, winner of the Nobel Peace Prize for his efforts to advance social and economic opportunities of the poor through work on microcredit. The Centre was founded in 2010 by Professor Cam Donaldson, one of the worlds foremost health economists.  Prof. Donaldson is now Pro Vice Chancellor (Research) and maintains a strategic role at the Yunus Centre, holding the current Yunus Chair in Social Business and Health. Professor Rachel Baker took over as Director of the Yunus Centre in August 2016.
